I have been looking for a solution to realise a 'Hide CLI' feature on the Gatekeeper and have found some options in the gatekeeper to change the CLI information and partially hide the CLI. Hide CLI using:
- ScreenCallingPartyNumberIE and - ScreenDisplayIE
However there is a field in the Q931 PDU (UUIE) which can not be modified. At least not that I am aware of.
When the called party is reading the UUIE field the CLI hide 'feature' does not work. E.g. if the CLI is hidden with the above 2 options the ohphone still shows the CLI (read from the UUIE field)
Does anybody have a solution to completely hide the CLI?
