If it is configured as an permanent endpoint, nothing can be done.
If it registers with GK, you can set TimeToLive parameter. Also
GK sends IRQ message to registered endpoints, if a few subsequent (3?)
IRQs are not answered, then the endpoint is removed.

You can also remove it using status line, of couse, but you already know that probably:)
