thank you sir for your reply. 
sadly i have already tried this, also i have placed the source in /usr/local/src/ and tried to set 
the env variables to this also but still when i attempt to run gnugk i still get the error that it 
cant find. 
 
/usr/sbin/gnugk: error while loading shared libraries: libh323_linux_x86_r.so.1.12.2: cannot 
open shared object file: No such file or directory 
 
i will play with this more.
