I had similar problems after compiling 2.0.7 on RH9 and resolved it like this:
1. edit the .bash_profile in your home directory and add
PWLIBDIR=$HOME/pwlib export PWLIBDIR OPENH323DIR=$HOME/openh323 export OPENH323DIR LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$PWLIBDIR/lib:$OPENH323DIR/lib export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
For me this did the job. But gnugk versions before 2.0.7 never produced this problem. Maybe need to check the makefile.

hi everyone.
ive been able to build 2.2 for both runtime and debug.
i have attempted to build LARGE_FDSET=16384 make optnoshared
upon attempt to run it says it can not find the openh323 shared libs.
i felt in the optnoshared it did not depend on the libs, they are in home/ray/openh323.
this being, can you tell me where i need to relocate the shared libs so that they are found at
runtime or do i need to set an env variable instead. i think i would rather put them in their
correct place.
in cvs there is still not the patch for 2.0 so im waiting for this to compile the debug version for
further proxy testing.
