OK, thanks.  I'm just using Cisco ATA 186's hooked to analog lines to test.
Presumably, with either an ISDN or SS7 link I'll get better data.

Appreciate the data- figured it was something like that.

disconnect-cause is just set to the value received by GK with ReleaseComple
message from calling or called endpoint.
