Michael, Yeah I solved it..... I retyped the whole ini file and than it worked. I have NO IDEA where this weird behaviour comes from. I also would like to remark that sometimes the gnugk does not accept a changed parameter from the ini file. Maybe this is a known anomaly. I have seen this with other software also. In addition to your remarks I can tell you the following. There is no need to set the Proxyfornat =1 parameter on the parent. Even more, I did not want the parent to proxy at all and achieved this by enabling the proxy section on the Child gk and setting proxyfornat = 1 and disabling all proxy facilites on the Parent. Keep the gkrouted on 1 on both gk's however. I tested with 4 EP's on both gk's ( I also used a third child gk on Public C with another 2 EP's) complete with a e164 numberplan and so achieved my objectives thus being able to balance my proxied traffic as also breaking out to PSTN using another GW supporting in this case 8 EP's simultaniously with audio going both ends....!
