I'll try to clear this up a bit: GnuGk is released under the GPL license. Basically that means everybody gets the gatekeeper and source code for free and can change it and make addition etc. It also means that all additions have to be made available to the community at no charge in source code form as soon as you start distributing your changes. We are actually encouraging people to implement new features. And many times somebody is payed to do the implementation. That's fine. We got a lot of features that way. But please be reminded that you have to publish the patches to stay legal. The easiest way to do that is to mail them to the developers list and most probably they and up in a future release of GnuGk.
