[Openh323gk-users] Mysql Authorization

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I'm attempting to use Mysql as a means of authentication, but after
setting up the .ini file and the MySql database, I'm not sure what
should actually be happening. Here's there relevant section of the .ini
file:

[MySQLAuth]
Host=localhost
Database=gkauth
User=authgk
Password=hello
Table=users
IDField=username
PasswordField=password
#ExtraCriterion=Kind < 2

[Gatekeeper::Auth]
MySQLAuth=require;ARQ

I use ohphone to register with gnugk using the following command line:

ohphone -lau jj --password green

Whenever I use the --password parameter, it tells me that it can't find
the gatekeeper. When I skip the --password parameter, it lets me
register with the gatekeeper as though there was no security requirement
at all.

Any ideas about what might be going wrong?

Regards,

Tom
