I did a lot of LDAP development two years ago. At that time, I used the Netscape LDAP SDK for Windows work and OpenLDAP for Unix work. You might have better luck with the Netscape LDAP SDK, or maybe you can use the Mozilla LDAP code: http://www.mozilla.org/directory/csdk.html The Mozilla and Netscape code used to be pretty much the same, except that the Netscape code included a bunch of SSL stuff. Maybe they are the same these days. The calls should be largely compatible with the OpenLDAP code (they are all derived from the University of Michigan codebase), with the potential exception of code to connect to the directory (e.g. ldap_bind()/ldap_open()).
