[Openh323gk-users] GnuGK Cluster

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi guys,
I'm trying to create a cluster of Gnugk servers to support load
balancing. I've read somewhere that Gnugk has a little problem
supporting Load Balancing, is this true?!?!

The reason I asked was because I was playing with 2 RedHat8.0 servers
running Gnugk 2.0.3 on 2 separate IPs and I couldn't get the load
balancing up correctly. The problem that I had was the registration
can be passed onto the second server, yet when a call is made, the ACF
shows it can not complete the call. It was as if the 2 servers
couldn't communication with each other. I'm sure that I've done
something wrong in the configuration, but could anyone give me a sample
of how the configuration file should look like on the 2 servers?!?

Also, when it comes to load balancing, can I create a cluster of 2 or
more servers to serve as load balancing??
