Yes it did (so as not to clash with projects shipping the old gnu.regex code). So this is an error in code bundled with jedit. But the AbstractMethodError shouldn't happen unless it is shipping broken byte code, or there is a VM bug not resolving the method correctly. Cheers, Mark
