I found, during merging, that the method which was still calling System was added to HEAD after the change I made to the generics branch (back in 2004, when I first bootstrapped it) and then was merged to the branch. So thanks for catching this, and I guess we need to watch out for this in future (although now that both copies use VMSystem, it's less of a problem). Cheers, Andrew
