My understanding is that proposed is something that will eventually get
into the main repository, but I'm not sure since I don't use Ubuntu
that much myself.

However, it looks like those packages are specific to Vivid, which is
the codename for the upcoming Ubuntu 15.04 release. It is possible that
they will work on 14.04 as well, but I wouldn't count on it.
