Is there anyway to not showing mounted drive in desktop?

Is there anyway to not showing mounted drive in desktop? Doesn't make 
sense that I have cdrom in desktop and in my computer. I don't want my 
windows partition show up in my desktop. Gnome 2.6. How do I solve my 
problem?
