Sorry for the late reply - it seems that this one went to the spam.

Have you checked the 2 hosts' (with the data bricks) dmesg for any issues with the FS ?
If I see Filedescriptor issue , I would check the FS first.

Just wanted to mention that the 3 hours later the self heal daemon managed to heal the files. I don't understand why it took 3 hours but at least the affected two directories and files are now available on all nodes again
