Thanks for the info!  Generally speaking, how long has it taken in the past to be promoted to the main mirror? (i realize this might be skewed right now due to the holiday season)

Yes.

did the Storage SIG repo change locations?

No.

Until someone tests and gives positive feedback they remain in buildlogs.

Much the same way Fedora RPMs remain in Updates-Testing until they receive +3 karma (or wait for 14 days).
