Assymetric replicate

I have 3 servers nodeA, nodeB, serverS, where nodeA and nodeB act as both client and server, when server S just serves.
My idea is that nodeA and nodeB are unified NUFA first, then replicate the whole system to serverS (like backup).
I'd call this assymetric replicate since one of the replicated volumes is the output of a unified volume where the other is just a plane volume.
Bad news is that it does not work so far. (no error in launching daemons, but shows "not implemented" message when I work around files)

Can anyone tell me this is possible? Then I could share my config files to see what's wrong.
