The function that creates the mount is: glusterd_create_quota_auxiliary_mount That function *also* creates log and pid files. The pid file path comes from GLUSTERFS_GET_AUX_MOUNT_PIDFILE, which combines the run directory (already available through the environment) with the volume name.
