Details:

I'm using ubuntu-7.04 version. i download the tarball,
and i get an error that it can't create the executables. i suspect that it is
SElinux problems but there are not much documentation out there on this, and
what i've found hasn't worked.

ubuntu is debian linux based, and it is listed as one of the supported os',
so someone must know the proper install procedures for ubuntu.

Also the package manager for ubuntu is apt. glusterfs is not available there
and if it is, then it would make the widespread use of glusterfs a lot
easier.
