Well, I fall into a fairly uncommon category of users. Earlier I followed git
development with great interest, and then other things came up that forced me
to loose sight of the git list for quite some time. Now I've got time to read
it again, so I *think* I know how git works, but forget that I *did* rather
than *do*.

Ah well. One lives and one learns. Sometimes even at the same time :-)
