Sorry for the delay. I had some PCRE2-related troubles getting
Git for Windows v2.18.0-rc1 off the ground, but it seems that v2.18.0-rc2
went much smoother:

    https://github.com/git-for-windows/git/releases/tag/v2.18.0-rc2.windows.1

Please test, and report issues at
https://github.com/git-for-windows/git/issues/
