From: Michael Haggerty <mhagger@xxxxxxxxxxxx> There is currently a bug: if passed an absolute top-level path that doesn't exist (e.g., "/foo") it incorrectly interprets the path as a relative path (e.g., returns "$(pwd)/foo").
