Well, there is probably a bug in the installer, maybe specifically for
this "Surface Pro 3" environment. Could you please open a bug report
so that we remember?
This may not be fixed soon, since I don't know if any of the
developers has such a tablet. But at least we can track the issue (in
the mailing list, it will just get forgotten in a few days).
