Thanks Alex. :) Anyway, for the other poster, Gimp git has been supporting NEF (through GEGL which calls dcraw directly) for quite sometime in case you are not aware. NEF is the RAW format created by a Nikon DSLR and hence my listing of the Nikon cameras. :) My wild guess is that it's a GEGL tile issue?
