More likely the problem is that your copy of po/Makefile.in.in is not uptodate. You can check that using the command 'svn status'. This file used to be overwritten by glib-gettextize (which is run by autogen.sh). And the version you have then does not have the proper flags for the xgettext which that are needed to make msgctxt work. I have now tried to fix this problem in trunk.
