I don't think it makes sense to even attempt to fix it in GIMP.
If this change is implemented in GEGL, does that mean it will make it into 2.6?
If not, wouldn't it make more sense to allow Jesper to improve 2.6, then port it to GEGL (and remove the non-CMS aware version)?
