troubles with release candidate

Hi,

The recent release candidate crashes with a segmentatin fault on my debian 
amd64 box.

I have a first version in a chroot with debian amd64 unstable, using the 
latest svn sources, and a second version retrieved as a debian package 
(2.4.0~rc1-4).

Both crash miserabily when I try to resize windows, or zoom in or zoom out, or 
sometimes quite randomly.

Tracing execution gives no tip, at least for me :
