I may do that evenutally but you suggested trying out the new layout first rather than immediately settings things back the way I was used to them in previous versions of GIMP. I'm going to be paying more attention to how I use GIMP in future to see if there is a better way to organized the two main dialog boxes (at least for me). -- Cheers!
