Hi, I have an idea, It might be done already or not feasable at all. Scanning a orignal image(Painting/drawing) the maximum resolution is dictated by the scanner hardware. Would it be possible to create a function where the image is moved slightly between multiple scans.Besause the allignment of the original to the sacnning device changes different image data would be picked up. And then have the information off these multiple image files combined to create a higher resolution image. I think that the same type of logic that is used in sewing overlapping pictures together for creating panoramas could be used . -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/High-resolution-scan--t1391299.html#a3739203 Sent from the Gimp Developer forum at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Gimp-developer mailing list Gimp-developer@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-developer
