I think I have to make something clear. We do like Tor's work on 
porting GTK+ and Gimp to Win32 very much, but at the moment the 
Gimp for Windows release is not actually an official "considered 
to be stable" Gimp release. 

Gimp-1.4 will hopefully be an "official" release for Win32 since it 
will be based on GTK+-2.0 which will have "official" support for 
Win32. To make this happen and to make it happen soon we (and the 
GTK+ folks) need people hacking on the Gimp in general and Win32 
issues in particular.
