The new gimp.m4 is incompatible with previous versions of this file. It contains the following: GIMP_DATA_DIR=`$GIMPTOOL $gimptool_args --gimpdatadir` GIMP_PLUGIN_DIR=`$GIMPTOOL $gimptool_args --gimpplugindir` The problem is that older versions of gimptool don't support --gimpdatadir and --gimpplugindir -- they print the usage message on stdout (not stderr) and the generated configure script blows up as a result because this all results in a totally ridiculous sed command. -- Robert Krawitz <rlk@xxxxxxxxxxxx> http://www.tiac.net/users/rlk/ Tall Clubs International -- http://www.tall.org/ or 1-888-IM-TALL-2 Member of the League for Programming Freedom -- mail lpf@xxxxxxxxxxxx Project lead for The Gimp Print -- http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net "Linux doesn't dictate how I work, I dictate how Linux works." --Eric Crampton
