Being able to add plug-ins with i18n support is _extremely_
important. Unless the release would be delayed it should be given
priority. Remember that gimp-1.2 will be there to stay for a long time,
presumably.

If the obvious problems with that solution is fixed (rc-format...), it looks
feasible to me.

Especially since the original "solution" to the i18n problems "officially"
has the status of an imperfect hack.
