Open Source & Open Society (WOS #2)

Ok, this mail is mainly directed towards the german gimp'ers, but it might
nevertheless be interesting for everybody. It is, however, not very high
priority ;)

You might already know it: Afetr the great success of the Wizard of OS #1 in
Berlin last year, it was decided for sure to make a series of such meetings.

The next one will take place in Karlsruhe, from 2000-10-16 to 2000-10-22
(NOT in March, as originally announced), and is mainly directed at artists,
and will be called:

Open Source und Open Society (WOS #2)

With very high probability there will be a Gimp workshop (if nobody helps me
I'll do it alone ;), which I think might bne very interesting, given the kind
of people we can expect there.

Since this is quite some time away, there is not much pressure for planning
yet, but I would like to know, in general, wether anybody would help doing
such a workshop, or would just like to attend that meeting anyway. (I could
even accomodate a single person in my single room ;)

In any case, I'll keep you posted in case there are big changes (I mean,
they just moved it from March to October, maybe next week they'll move it
to February...)
