libgimpui && dcgettext, a linker question

I just got a bug report that contained this:

> /usr/local/lib/libgimpui.so: undefined reference to `dcgettext__'

Can a makefile guru tell me wether this is a bug with i18n on the target
system, or ist libgimpui just not linked against -lintl (as it should)?
