No, one configured device does not emit core-events. The Problem is,
That I want Gimp to handle two different XInput-devices with the
same "context", so I can use one area as Quickpoint-area to move the
core-pointer and one area to paint in the window without moving the
core-pointer. But Gimp insists to have different configs for those
two devices.

Hmm - probably something for the wishlist :-(
