I think the intended thing woule be matched with this procmail recipe:

* ^Delivered-To: mailing list gimp-developer@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx*
list-gimp-developer

This shows up in _all_ postings to the list and you don't have to trick
with multiple recipients, the Cc: to you stored in the mailing list
folder, etc.

My experience is that all mailing list software put some special header(s)  
on which it is secure to match in the postings passed through.
