Righto. Especially if you scan many images at a time, it gets very painful
to do some real work if things crawl... Of course a bit less is ok for web
graphics, but it is for everything. My P100 was a killer box after I
upgraded from 16MB to 80MB.. I even did the Gimp CD cover with that
machine. And it had lots of 1000x1000 layers..
