It should be possible to take the toolbar to the extreme of straight horizontal or straight vertical. But that would mean that the FILE and XTNS items should also fall in line, and that the color and device selection control buttons would need to be different. Perhaps separate? With slight enhancements, the "device status" dialog box could play this role. -- -lsm
