The geometry in question is symmetric, where all the relevant angles
can be thought of as either formed by, or bisected by, the axis of
symmetry, so it doesn't make a whole lot of difference.  However, since
the "angle of view" property goes up to 180 deg., "supplementary" would
be more appropriate in this context.

A more formal alternative to "bogus" would be "invalid", "erroneous",
or "dubious".
