A translation of a license or legally binding document does never have the same effect as the original document. But you can always refer to the original text. This is what we did for the Swedish translation for GPL "This is an unofficial translation of the GNU General Public License into Swedish. It was not published by the Free Software Foundation, and does not legally state the distribution terms for software that uses the GNU GPL -- only the original English text of the GNU GPL does that.
