And now that I also posted an updated patch for the reregistering problem to https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=629326 I think I might have botched that one. Are planar and non-planar versions of one (equally named) format supposed to coexist? If so, please disregard the patch as it will mess everything up.
