The color2gray, it is a color2gray algorithm, and I would recommend increasing the number of iterations instead of increasing the number of samples. Think of running it with a low number of a iterations as a preview of the results of multiple iterations. (the method is work in progress and we're rtring to keep the implementation simple, rather than engineer ad-hoc noise reduction capabilities into it at the moment.) /Øyvind K. -- «The future is already here.
