We already get confused with the Gulf Cooperation Council and Glendale Community College, so one more won't hurt! :-) In formal terms used for trademarks in the US, the goods and services are unrelated, so the likelihood of confusion is low. There not much we can do about people who just Google for "GCC" and click the first link they find without engaging any brain cells, so I wouldn't worry about them. I think you should go ahead and use it if that's your preferred name. But thanks for being considerate enough to check!
