GFORTRAN COMPILER ON IMAC-PRO WITH Big Sur

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello All,

I have been using gfortran on my iMac Pro for several years. I recently upgraded my system to version 11.0.1 (Big Sur), and I now find that the compile process will not complete because "ld: library not found for -lSystem”.
I’m a mechanical engineer doing research in tribology issues, and I’m not deeply literate with computer systems…the installation of gfortran was quite a chore for me. Is there something that I can do (easily) that will restore my compiler functionality?

Thank you,
Laurence F. Wagner, PhD.
