I think that's where most of the (anticipated) confusion will come from in this thread. I'm not that familiar with crosstool-ng but I don't think it will help in this case: the OP wants a native compiler, that itself is cross-compiled to run on a different platform. That's not what (again, by my understanding) crosstool-ng does.
