That should have worked fine, assuming you didn't do anything like try to run 'configure' in the mpfr soure directory. Have you previously attempted to configure GCC in the same /Gnu/gcc/obj dir? If yes, remove everything in that directory and start again. I don't think the problem is including 'ada' in the languages to be built, because the failure is happening very early in the build.
