I have downloaded gcc-3.4.6.tar

root@Server-5 # ../configure --with-as=/usr/ccs/bin/as --with-ld=/usr/ccs/bin/ld --enable-shared
loading cache ./config.cache
checking host system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.10
checking target system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.10
checking build system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.10
checking for a BSD compatible install... ../install-sh -c
../configure: cc: not found

Getting 'cc' happens for instance via :

http://www.sunfreeware.com/indexsparc10.html

There is already a prebuilt gcc-3.4.6 for 'sparc-sun-solaris2.10'
to serve as the 'cc', so rebuilding the same from sources is a
little odd, using gcc-3.4.6 as a "bootstrap 'cc'" for compiling
newer gcc-4.* sources then wouldn't be that odd...
