It would be much easier to get gfortran were you using Linux or Mac OS X.  Consider installing Ubuntu in a virtual machine (e.g., using free VMware Player).

For Windows you can try installing gfortran in Cygwin (www.cygwin.com).  Search YouTube for "install cygwin" and "cygwin tutorial".
