Hi, I have this book about autoconf and friends. In 4.4 there is a discussion about whether generated files (configure, Makefile.in, etc) should be packaged or not? One of the reasons given for packaging these files is that sometimes 'modified' versions of the autotools are used. Does gcc use "off the shelf" autotools to generate its 'packaged' files (3.4.6 & 4.3.5)? Thanks! kevin
