After removing -g, Borland wins, but by how much differs. For the larger program executable, it is 93k and 94k. For the smaller program executable, it is 85k and 89k. Thanks. :-) The values for -fno-implicit-templates -DNO_IMPLICIT_TEMPLATES are 248k -> 102k for the larger program executable and 248k -> 102k for the smaller program executable, depending on -Wl,--gc-sections.
